TROUBLE SHOOTING Here are some hints to help with common problems. A) If Installation does not go smoothly: 1) Turn off all TSR's (Terminate and Stay Resident Programs) before installing any program. Examples of such programs are virus scanners, screen savers, Windows resource monitors and Windows RAM doublers. 2) If you load various programs upon Windows startup by placing them in the Startup Folder, close them all, before installing this software. B) If the software does not run properly after installation, consider the following before contacting us for tech support. 1) Do not run our software with your monitor resolution set at 16 million colors unless you have previously determined that your PC can handle such resource stress. While most video cards manufacturers state that their card will display 16 million colors, this may not be possible if there is not enough memory on either the card or PC motherboard. Be certain that the video card is properly configured for refresh rate, etc. 2) It is common to have video card - motherboard mismatch, particularly with high end video cards and the first generation of Pentium PC's that had hybrid PCI-IDE motherboards. If you are experiencing display problems with some programs, but not others in a manner that appears inconsistent, contact the maker of your video card for tech support and driver updates.
